"A Mother's Desperate Plea!"
My name is Ann Richmond. In March of 2006 my daughter Jennifer almost 17 was diagnosed with Ewing Scarcoma cancer after a year of being told by our family doctor that she had a pinched nerve. My daughter was a provincial competetive gymnast and her dreams for the future were to be a model or a nurse. By the time Jenny was diagnosed she was paralyzed on her right side. After a year of chemo and radiation she regained everything except the use of her right arm, which she will never get back. Her dreams are over. After only two months in remission they found three more tumors in her spine in July 2007. She started chemo and radiation again but the radiation didn't work. My daughter idolizes Tyra and for her wish through the Chilren's Wish Program she only asked to meet her. She was told it was impossible. A couple of weeks ago we saw girls on her show from the Wish Foundation. Jenny was devistated. I can verify all of this information with pictures and stories from Elissa Lansdell of CMT and from our local Newspaper, the North Bay Nugget! All I ask is PLEASE, if you know anyone that can help me to make my baby's dream come true can you please please help me. They can only keep her on this chemo until July and they we pray that it doesn't come back. I just want to give this to my baby just in case! PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!
