Ken Mansfield: The 6th Beatle?
Meet Ken Mansfield author of THE WHITE BOOK: The Beatles, the Bands, the Biz: An Insider's Look at an Era , and given his close relationship with The Beatles, you might even consider him the 6th or maybe 7th Beatle - wouldn't want to step on the late Neal Aspinall's toes.
But, you talk about your witnesses to history, Ken was actually there for The Beatles last ever live performance on a rooftop. He also talked about being around to experience the real Beatlemania, once trapped with George Harrison by eager fans in a jeans store in California, he said that the 30 feet from the hotel entrance to the limo was sometimes the hardest commute of their day because of the throngs of adoring fans.
