Help Me Howard: This Check Is No Longer In The Mail
For last year's Valentine's day 2007, a young Brooklyn woman wrote a dating article for a local Brooklyn newspaper. It was her very first article to be published and she was very excited about that. Only problem, she was never paid for it. For a year she waited for the check, as the newspaper kept promising "it was in the mail". Finally she got tired of waiting and called Help Me Howard.
