A happy heart is a healthier one. A study of nearly 3,000 British people showed those who were in good moods had lower levels of high blood pressure and stress. Those people with positive attitudes also had less inflammation in the body.

And a consumer group is suing the food and drug administration for poor warning labels on some antibiotics. The public citizen group says the FDA needs stronger warning labels for the side effects caused by Cipro. Right now the label is at the bottom of each bottle, where it's hard to see. Serious tendon injuries can result from taking the antibiotic. The group is calling for a "black-box" warning label, which will make the side effect more noticeable.

Placebo pills are a surprisingly common prescription. According to a recent study, half of the doctors surveyed said they've given patients placebo pills at some point in time. Researchers at the university of Chicago say the study raises ethical concerns.

And the centers for disease control and prevention says the stomach flu spreads through items like keyboards and your computer mouse. Officials say there's evidence these shared objects help transmit the disease. The CDC reported on a stomach flu outbreak at an elementary school in Washington DC. Of the 380 students and faculty members, more than 100 people came down with the virus. The best way to prevent yourself from getting the stomach flu, wash your hands regularly.
