In today's fit for life... Flu shots are becoming a growing trend at some major u-s airports:
Airports in Chicago, Atlanta, San Francisco and even nearby Newark, are setting up "airside" health kiosks close to the gates.
So far this season, they've given out about 15-thousand shots. Airport health workers say they're now looking to offer other vaccinations ... As well as, cholesterol and blood pressure checks.
Obese children may be more at risk to developing heart disease later in life. A national study suggests overweight teens could raise their risk for heart disease as adults by 16 percent. They linked obesity in younger kids to heart disease in adults... Especially boys.

The amount of teenagers giving birth in the US is on the rise for the first time in 15 years.
The teen birth rate had been dropping since its peak in 1991, but a new government report suggests it slowed down over the past few years. Health experts say the increase could be related to a push to teach teens abstinence instead of how to use birth control.
The drug Avastin has been rejected for use in breast cancer patients. An advisory panel for the food and drug administration voted 5 to 4 against approving expanded use of the drug. Avastin is already used as treatment for colon and lung cancer. FDA advisors say its ability to treat breast cancer does not outweigh its toxic side effects.
