Now let me get this straight. With all the problems the country faces, Weinergate is front and center. And why?
Boxers or Briefs? Look, I'm not going to insult your intelligence, of course I know why. His name is Weiner and the allegations of the subject matter of an alleged text photo was . . . you know. The same jejune and puerile humor quotient that brings us South Park and poop jokes is eating this story up. Sex, wiener jokes -- what more could you ask for? And it sure beats reporting. But to be perfectly fair and brutally honest, it's Weiner's equivocation that's causing he increased scrutiny. What was that line? It's not about the crime but the coverup. Had he covered up . . . wait, he did. And I'm not so sure what crime was committed, if any. But his reaction is, well, weird.
PARENTHETICAL ASIDE: I'll bet you, Ol' Tony wishes maybe he had pushed for the "Winer" pronunciation, but what are you going to do? Nothing could be finer than . . . but I digress.
Here's Weiner, the prince of prevarication, refusing to answer a very simple question.

I never sent that or any pictures of my body or nether regions, clad or semi-clad, ever to anyone. Period. I don't know who this woman is. My account's been hacked and I've called the police and filed a formal complaint with the authorities.
Then he called it a prank and suggested that someone's trying to derail his real message or something preposterous like that. Is this the way a person denies involvement? And if he did do it, he's certifiably insane. Hasn't he ever heard of Brett Favre? Please, dear Zeus, say it ain't so.

I have four separate emails from a New York Post reporter saying if you just answer this one question it will be over. You know people may not believe me, they believe Breitbart, whatever it is. I'm going to do the work I got to do and somewhere I've got to say I'm done talking about it. I'm going to decide what I'm going to talk about for the next several days and it's not going to be this."

I love your commentary. Regarding gay marriage I refer you to the best law book in the world. The Bible, The Torah the Koran which forbids gay marriage which condemns homosexuality.I think the legislature has better things to do but debate something which is against all religions. I have nothing against homosexuals but it has no place being considered in the legislature.

I would like you to cover a story on whats been going happening to me since I lost my job. I have been employed for the past 32 years and Dec 2010 I was let go from a job I dealt with discrimination for two years I have paid taxes 32 years and now I cant get a job have been turned for public assistance trying to fight unemployment but cant pay for a lawyer had to sign a lien of 220000.00 against my home for food stamps cant get medicaid because i own a home of which I cant sell there are no buyers and cant modify my home loan because I don't have a JOB. i Cant even get a job at McDonald because i am over qualified. All my life I have worked hard and now me a working single parent cant get any help from a system I have paid into for years. Being I am now 50 age is a factor and experience a hinder. I have submitted over 1000 applications since Dec and still nothing. I have been there for my government but as many letters I have sent out I get no response. This is how good people loose it. Now me and my family will be homeless soon and I will be broken. I know there are others out there like me cause I see them when I go to try and get help. I want to know how my country and government can help me now.

It would seem that in a society which is becoming increasingly narcissistic, hedonistic,egotistic and just downright undisciplined, events like these are a given. In a world where the heroes are are immoral sports and entertainment figures, where the music is full of filth and violence, where the general atmosphere is one of "because i can", the inevitable result is a world lacking in dignity, self respect and regard for human live and any semblance of morality.When the accepted mode of everday public attire for both males and females was unacceptable in the "skin" magazines of 50 years ago and there is no concept of anything being inappropriate, then human life is so cheap that anything can happen.This is the world that we created.

Mendte, way to be the only guy to politicize the findings of Dr. John Howard regarding 9/11 and cancer. You're a f**king idiot and a ratings hound. I've searched through blogs, editorials and news stories and somehow nobody else finds the need to blame Obama for this. And that's shocking, because we love blaming that guy for EVERYTHING.
How can you put Obama on the hook for these findings? Did he fake some numbers to get out of giving more money to these victims? You think Obama is a miser? The guy gives needy people more money than Help Me Howard. And next week, you'll probably be complaining about government spending.
