Fab Over Fifty
It’s a brand new website aimed at smart, stylish, independent women of a certain age. It’s called FabOverFifty.com and it had its official launch just a few days ago. To my surprise, I was asked to be the guest of honor. Now, I will admit that I hesitated. Let’s face it. There is a reluctance among folks in my industry,( and I’m talking about the men just as much as the women, if not more so!) to reveal too much personal information, especially age.
But then I thought, what the hell.
I AM over fifty, and I AM pretty darn fabulous! : )
I was glad I accepted. Earlier in the week, Geri Brin, the founder of this website (where fabulous women with a little experience under their belts share funny and eye-opening information with each other), interviewed me at the PIX 11 studios. I was taken with her immediately….her great smile, cool glasses, and the most gorgeous bright orange shearling coat I’d ever seen. I wanted it!
I was delighted with her, and even more delighted when, at the launch party, she surprised me with a wonderful little ‘movie’ that incorporated parts of that interview and so much more! I was completely unaware that my colleagues, Jim Watkins and Mr. G had been interviewed also. Secretly. And a talented young man named David Berman put it all together. I would love to share it with you now.

Congrats on your path.... ty for once in awhile taking a break from reading the monitor and standing up for those of us, who don't have the ability to do it on our own. I 100% agree with you that NYC is the most friendly people in the world just don't look them in the eyes... plz tell Marry to lay of Seebrooks he has a handicap like Patterson who can't see the issue..

Congratulations Kaity. I've been out of the country on work and am now just catching up on your blogs. Can't stop reading What a treat. You are an encouragement to women of all ages.
