First of all - hollandaise sauce is not that hard to make. Perhaps this is a telling sign of Mr. Bourdain’s "expertise". Not all restaurants take the cheap way. The ones that don't are also usually the ones that charge a tad bit more in their prices. This causes the consumers to go to the cheaper restaurant. Sometimes the extra cost is worth it. As far as reading his book or books such as his - sometimes ignorance is bliss.

Dear Kaity, After a long day at work, it's always good to see you on the news! I only found out about your blog and am loving it! Mimosas are my favorite.

Kaity great stuff. As a professional chef I have read that book dozens of times. I must say some things are true and some are just literary embellishment. Hollandaise IS easy to make, VERY difficult to hold without breaking. Thanks for another GREAT blog. And Jenny, I doubt you could crack an egg for Chef Bourdain.

P.S.Bourdain has several fiction novels in print, most revolve around the kitchen.

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass' favor.

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it'll do even better in those areas, but for now it's a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod's strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.

There are certainly a lot of details like that to take into consideration. That is a great point to bring up. I offer the thoughts above as general inspiration but clearly there are questions like the one you bring up where the most important thing will be working in honest good faith.
