Just in case some of you are wondering ( and even for those of you who could care less), I thought I should let you know why I have not been blogging these past couple of weeks. What?! You haven’t even noticed?!?!?!?!
I took two weeks off for some much needed rest (yes, dear Anonymous, earning millions of dollars just reading the prompter is EXHAUSTING!!! If you only knew….). Now my bosses have listened to those of you who think I should have my very own blog site (thank you all, so nice of you!). They are building the site even as we speak, and I believe the launch date is May 1st.
So, since so few of my musings are topical ( alright, the blog on my personal experience with the Brazilian wax was inspired by a news story that day, but that’s rare), I can start posting some things I’ve already written, plus new stuff, as soon as my site is ready.
Jim is the king of bloggers here at PIX! You know it was his obsession with blogging that made me hijack one of his blogs way back when. I swore at the time, as I complained about how Jim’s blogging was annoying the hell out of me and ruining our relationship, I swore that would be my first and LAST blog. I’m sure there are many of you who wish I had kept that promise.
But you know, even though I am not prolific (I think Jim cranks out about 10 a day!!!), I have had fun with it. And I am glad so many of you have had fun reading them. I really enjoy and appreciate getting your comments. Yes, even the cranky ones.

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass' favor.
