Facebook Relents!
I’m going to spend most of today getting ready for the PIX News coverage of Barack Obama’s inauguration on Tuesday. But I did want to blog about one thing that I know has been of great, agonizing concern to many of you: my Facebook status.
As thousands of you read about here, I was mysteriously banned last week by the Facebook police from adding more friends. I appreciate all of you who wrote with your sympathies, your advice, and yes, your prayers. As it turns out, I didn’t really do anything in response, except go into seclusion, take some long walks, and hug my children a little tighter at night.
Well, it must have worked! I’m back! For whatever reason, I’m being allowed to friend people again. I never got an explanation from the Facebook authorities (“Matrix” fans, let’s just call them what they are: Agents). I mentioned in last week’s post that I’d written to Facebook seeking an explanation for my exile. I never got a response. Their silence mocked me. And then, suddenly over the weekend, the ordeal ended.
Since we’re entering a new era of personal responsibility, I should admit that I was probably friending too many people too quickly, and that’s why I got put on probation. I’m going to try my best to stay clean now, folks. But what can I say? I’m a friendly dude.

Speaking of classy, your and Kaity's coverage of the inauguaral was a true class act. Normally, I would watch CNN for something like this, but I was channel flipping yesterday and saw you guys were covering it. So I watched. Great coverage for a great day for a great man.
And yes, I was the one who saw you announcing that plane crash also. Something else I would normally have tuned into CNN for. But it was great to watch guys instead this time.
As for Facebook, so good you did not do one of those "Don't you know who I am" things to them. That's so uncool when people do that. (I once saw Anthony Cumia do that).

I got tired of watching the tube yesterday, and really wasn't too impressed with Mrs. Obama's dresses. I thought Mrs. Biden looked better. Can I say this on a blog spot? I JUST DID! You guys on Channel 11 did a good job when I did watch!!!!LEE *criticforeverythingandwhatever....
remember, at my age of grandma status, I really don't hold back much....
