Six Months With No Kitchen Sink! Help Me Howard!

Zicy Councio got a knock on her door one day. It was a couple of maintenance guys come to give her new cabinets. Zicy has lived in her apartment in Grant Houses in Harlem for 19 years. New cabinets sounded great to her!

The guys came in and took down the old cabinets but when they went to put the new ones up there was a problem.
" He came in. He look at the wall," said Zicy, "and said the wall was dry rotten." They'd have to replace the wall so they ended up pulling the sink off the wall too. Zicy had to put in a request to get the wall fixed. It took about three weeks. But then they never came back to put up the new cabinets or reinstall the sink!
" Who is responsible for replacing the cabinets?," asked Howard. " Housing!," said Zicy. " Housing is responsible! They say they don't know what I'm talking about so I have called housing so much, which I really couldn't get upset with the lady answering the phone. She told me my date was September 28, 2011! I can't live like that, I got three kids. On top of that I didn't have no water in the bathroom. Housing did come and fix that but they did a half job. You can still hear the water."
" Now your washing your dishes in the bathroom?," asked Howard.
" I'm washing my dishes in the bathroom. We bathe in the bathroom, you know sometimes if I feel like I want to cook in the house, I have to wash my food in the bathroom, everything is done in my bathroom. It's terrible, thank God I got a roof over my head but this is crazy."
So Howard got on the phone with the Housing Authority. They said they'd look into it.
Then he paid a visit to the management at Grant Houses.
Howard explained why he was there and then asked, " You guys know about this, right?"
They wouldn't talk to him, just passed him a phone number.
Then Zicy got a call from Housing. They promised her they'd get right on it.
We were getting closer. Maybe they could get to her within the week.
Well, later that very same day, maintenance guys showed up ready to get to work.
By the end of the day the cabinets were back.
The sink was back too. It just needed a pipe to be hooked up.
Howard decided to go back and check on things just as the plumber was finishing up that last bit.
Zicey was overjoyed.
" Thank you Help Me Howard!" she said as she clapped her hands in delight. " I am so grateful. Thank you Lord. Thank you Help Me Howard. They gave me my sink back in less than a week. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I got hot water and I got cold water in the kitchen."
Oh yeah, they went ahead and fixed the water in the bathtub too. It doesn't run nonstop now.
" Now I can go on with my life. I can cook now. I can do my dishes. They fixed everything; my bathroom, they gave me a new sink, new cabinets, I just want to say thank you.," said Zicey.
Howard told her he was glad he could help.

This is what happens when you live in the projects and have to deal with housing. If you have your own house, you could handle things yourself instead of waiting on others who could care less.

I am also a resident in public housing ive been waiting since November for cabinets and plastering they have assured me but nothing has been done. Housing negligence is ridiculos and they have no consideration for their residents. I have no kitchen sink or cabinets and my whole wall is missing witch housing has torned it down and now i cant even feed my chilren.
