What would you do if Channel 11 gave you $1,000 in cash?

Every Friday now is "Feel Good Friday," as Help Me Howard is giving away $1,000 to one very lucky person.

But there's a catch!

Tune into the PIX News At Ten every Friday night to find out what it is.

And be sure to go to our blog every Thursday night to find out what part of the tri-state area Howard's going to be giving away cash next.

This December 4th, the "Feel Good Friday" location will be the Lower East Side of Manhattan, in the vicinity of Second Avenue.

Hey Howard, I enjoyed seeing your Lower East Side segment just now. I'm a life-long 50 year resident of 11th street, just a few blocks from where you were filming. Had you met me and asked who was most deserving, I would have taken you right over to The Bowery Mission, and split the $1,000 between 10 honeless men. If anyone deserves monetary help in the East Village, or anywhere for that matter, it's these guys. It would have made for a very Merry Christmas! Best, Joe Preston

I'm a single mother from Staten Island and recently became homeless. I would really appreciate receiving 1,000 dollars from Help Me Howard and CW-11. It's the holidays and it would make me feel so much better. It would help make the holidays a lot happier. It's a very sad time for me. I have been dealing with the system and red-tape, and not having any luck. Dealing with the shelter system, having being threatened and just feeling depressed, overwhelmed and helpless. I work and get paid twice a month. I had a landlord who backed out on me at the last minute. There is an organization who has been trying their best to help me but their resources are limited. They are called C'est Mavie Homes. They assist women in crisis. My Christmas wish is to have a home for the holidays and be reunited with my daughter who's not speaking to me. Thank you for reading my story and listening.

Sincerely,
Kim Dross

God bless and happy holidays.

Hey Howard...

I know 12 Special Education students who need the bus pass for the rest of the year...can you spare enough so that these 7th graders who attend school in Brookly, (IS285), Mr. Johnson's class can continue going to school?

HELP THEM HOWARD...PLEASE.

If they gave me 1000 dollars I would pay my rent and give my kids and grand baby a nice Christmas for once. Its been forever since I remember them having a nice Christmas. I need hope and I am losing all hope for anything. All I do is cry. My kids are all I have and when I do all in my power to give them a happy life something bad happens. Its would be a dream come true this Christmas. Thanks Debbie Gamble

Dear Mr. Howard,

I hope this note finds you in the best of spiritual, mental, and physical health and happiness. I am 14 years old and I just wanted to ask if you could help me do something nice for my mom. I wish you could give us 1,000 dollars to be able to buy her something for Christmas and for her birthday that just passed. She is our only parent and there are 5 of us children (from 14, 8, 6, and twins,2 yrs old) all together. My Mom sacrifices everything for us and always helps so many people when they are hungry, need help, need information/clothing/resources and just for guidance or to talk to. My mom gives her shirt off her back to anyone and I was hoping we could do something nice for her, too. We are not homeless or have an emergency, but if you give the 1,000 dollars to people who do need it more than us, I understand 'cause they do need it more. Thank you for your consideration and for reading this. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and every one who works with you and your family!
