What would you do if Channel 11 gave you $1,000 in cash?

Every Friday now is "Feel Good Friday," as Help Me Howard is giving away $1,000 to one very lucky person.

But there's a catch!

Tune into the PIX News At Ten every Friday night to find out what it is.

And be sure to go to our blog every Thursday night to find out what part of the tri-state area Howard's going to be giving away cash next.

This November 13th, the "Feel Good Friday" location will be in downtown Brooklyn.

Hey Howard,

It is SO nice to see something besides bad news. I got such a kick seeing the faces of the people in front of the unemployment office light up when they got the money.

There is lots of good news out there, I hope PIX continues to bring us that! We sure need it now.

Whoever had the idea to do Feel Good Fridays, really great idea and congrats!

I understand that you gave money to unemployed man for a period of time or the lady who closed down her store, but the employee who is currently employed and taking break, does not deserve the money. You should donate this money to "soup kitchen" since Thanksgiving is around the corner.
what are you thinking, Howard? Very disappointed.

Dear Howard;
I love your show, and I love how you always help people. But this time, you are disappointed me by giving this Federal Employee on break, the extra $100 that left, you should give it to another unemployed person. Becasue it looks like this guy got a 10% commission from your show, and this is not right. I hope next time, you will do better.

I agree with tt lway. You said that the employed person would give away $1000 to one person or $500 to two. He only wanted to give $200 to the first guy and you gave $500. Then he only gave the woman $400 and got to keep the $100? He has a job. So many folks don't. It seems like he didn't want to share. Instead of using someone to pretend to give money away, just give it to needy folk and skip the middle man.

Just wanted to say thank you, again.......the money came at a much needed time. If you think it's bad at the unemployment office you should do a piece on the corrupt court system and the just as corrupt welfare system. I think what you're doing is great and will always remember how lucky I got on Friday the 13th. I'll could really use your help in getting my security deposit back from my landlord so that we can move on with our lives. Divine Ink Tattoos was providing excellent service to our community until he sabotaged our business. I'll be in touch.

shout outs to the 2 folks who got the $ on feel good friday....I am "the federal employee on a break" ..and to folks who have issues with the $100.00, it's not that serious... it's about making someone's day, which we did. if you have watched this before, Howard has given $100.00 to others also, so he made my day also...and once again, it's not that serious

No federal employee "needs" $100! They get paid good money! There are a many people that believe $100 is a LOT of money. They are struggling (some with children) and times are hard. I applaude your efforts but next time - please - give the money to someone who could really use it and not think that it's "not that serious".
