Fashion Phony Scams Unsuspecting Victims
Just Who Is Kevin "T-Weed" Watson, Really?
This is a story about a model, a photographer, a design manager, a producer and a mogul-wanna be named Kevin Watson.
Kevin "T-Weed Watson is a self-styled svengali, who hangs around the red carpet crowd, apparently trying orchestrate situations that seem to only benefit him, while costing others a lot of money.
Anna Beilan, a part-time model, met Watson while she was waiting tables. She says Watson told her he was the founder of the Ed Hardy clothing line.
Anna says Watson asked her to model for the new Ed Hardy vodka line he was launching. She was thrilled and says a week later, they had a brief meeting, discussed the shoot and she was told she would be paid $ 2,000 for the job. She never saw a contract or never signed a release.
But on the day of the shoot, when Anna arrived, Watson had apparently failed to mention that she would be expected to pose nude.
Anna says, "At first I was a little shocked. I wasn't ready for that. I felt a lot of pressure. I felt like the photographer was there for a reason, the make-up artist was there for a reason. If I'm gonna walk out right now, I'm kinda putting everybody in a bad position and nobody can do their job. And I thought it was for Ed Hardy and that's all that keeps going thru your mind."
Jason Howard was the photographer on the job. He was supposed to get paid $1,500 for this job, but was already very uncomfortable with Anna posing nude.
He said, "I remember I had spoken to Anna ahead of time and she had spoken about clothes and asked me what she was gonna wear for the shoot. And I asked Kevin, does she know? And he said no, but she's gonna do it."
So Anna posed nude, focusing on doing the job and Jason took the pictures, trying not to think of Watson's tactics. As of today neither one of them has been paid for that photo shoot.
In September, Michael Brown and Tiffany Baker were trying to produce a fashion show to benefit the New York Lupus Foundation. Tiffany says she had previously met Watson at a club and he'd told her he was with Ed Hardy. Several weeks later, they say Watson showed them a large space that he had access to at 1515 Broadway. They paid him $1,300 to rent the space and began planning for their show.
But things began to go awry just days before the scheduled fitting.
Tiffany says, "The day before we were trying to confirm with him whether or not we could use the space and he seemed to be dodging our calls, he wouldn't answer any of Michael's calls. Michael asked him directly, "are we still good Mr. Watson for the fitting?" Kevin said, "I have to talk to you about that" , then he told Michael on Wednesday, September 16th, the day before the fitting (the fitting was on September 17th) that the space would NOT be utilized for the fitting, because there was a meeting in that space and that sounded really fishy to us."
Michael tried several times to reach Watson to salvage the fashion show, but they eventually had to cancel the show due to the loss of the venue. So far they have received NO money back from Watson and no explanations.
All four of these people contacted Help Me Howard to help them get answers and hopefully their money back from Kevin "T-Weed" Watson.
Watson's last known address was in Long Island City, so Howard, joined by Anna and Tiffany, headed out there to see if they could talk to him.
Unfortunately he had already moved on and no longer lived there. Howard also learned that Watson no longer has access to that large space at 1515 Broadway. Howard also contacted the corporate offices of Ed Hardy and they confirmed that they have no affiliation with Kevin Watson.
Howard did receive several phone calls from Kevin "T-Weed" Watson. Watson claimed that Anna and Jason owed =HIM= money, but he wasn't able to elaborate anymore on that.
As for the nude photos? Kevin said it was Anna's idea to pose nude. Kevin then said that he doesn't know Tiffany Baker, but he said he left her check at the clerical desk. What clerical desk? And who leaves a check for someone they don't know?
Kevin then told Howard he could not grant him an interview because he was in California.
Kevin "T-Weed" Watson is an individual that everyone needs to be aware of and beware of.

That guy T-weed was also a contestant on VH1'S I love new york show.....He tried to convince New York and her moms that he was worth over 100 million dollars...They ran a credit report and found that he was working at a pizza parlor and making less than 25,000 per year...New York kicked him off the show for that!

The scam artist called Tweed stared in season 1 of the reality show 'I Love New York'. Seriously! Check it out. He was eliminated off the show for being a fake millionare.

so, they why have 3 different people from the same area, that probably don't know each other call help me howard for help? He must be scamming them, they has been a lawsuit against him for doing such things before to his former girlfriend where he ran thousand of dollars on her credit card without permission and never paid her back, found it through google. Well, he might be associated somehow with ed hardy, but running his own little scams on the side, so he still is basically a phony. My opinion
I think the founder of ED HARDY HIMSELF should get involved! Having one of your workers make FAKE photoshoots of girls that believe its for the actual company is just unacceptable!!

I don't trust anyone, especially if they come up with a "deal" that sounds too good to be true. Actually, people who push me, usually push me away from them.
I think you should contact the help me howard folks with new address information. This guys probably has lawsuits up the ass...PS he sux ass & he's ugly.
My friend and I were just at this guys apartment, or so he says its his. I have a good idea what the address is, or at least how to get there, but the Help me Howard main page isnt loading correctly and the voicemail inbox is full and not taking any messages. So if someone could post the email I will gladly send the address. I walked in and immediately recognized him from somewhere. We got back to our apartment and immediately googled him. I cannot believe this story just ran last week. He did mention in conversation that he was part owner of Ed Hardy and randomly offered to get us into Hugh Heffner's final party at the playboy mansion for Halloween.
I think you should have been had your own show. It would be extremely nice to see someone defending and fighting for people who needs your help!

I am slightly afraid to come forward with information but feel it best so that possible victims of his scams can be warned and other former victims of his scams can have the courage to come forward.
