Practice Family Fitness
Families can motivate each other to lose weight.
Fitness expert Marina Kamen recently lost 100 pounds. She noticed her 15-year-old son was showing signs of being obese.
She started running in place with him every day to the beat of music.
From there she went on to develop musical fitness routines for her work and her workouts with her son.
She is living proof that parents can lead by example.
The whole family can develop a healthy lifestyle together.
Moving and fitness can be fun. It doesn't have to seem like a homework assignment.
And time together does not have to be only at dinner time.
So set aside time for fun fitness and movement time and why not do it to music.
That makes it fun for your child and you.
Figure out other ways to build movement into your life.
Put on your sneakers and save a buck too..by walking to school or work.
Pop on those headphones. Walk together, either inside, in place, or outside..around your
neighborhood.

I feel that the mother is supporting her son in such a beautiful way because the weight situation does become an issue, you probably wont express it because of the feeling of being embaressed and knowing your overweight but for your mother to notice and not only notice to feel your pain and lead by example is a blessing in itself!!>*:)*
