What would you do if Channel 11 gave you $1,000 in cash?

Every Friday now is "Feel Good Friday," as Help Me Howard is giving away $1,000 to one very lucky person.

But there's a catch!

Tune into the PIX News At Ten every Friday night to find out what it is.

And be sure to go to our blog every Thursday night to find out what part of the tri-state area Howard's going to be giving away cash next.

This September 18th, the "Feel Good Friday" location will be the Tremont section of the Bronx in the vicinity of Arthur Avenue.

That's where Howard met Kavashi, who was having lunch at an outdoor trattoria. He recognized Howard instantly, and knew just why he was there.

"Let me give it away right here!" Kavashi said.

He gave $400 to a mother, and $100 to her young son. The rest of the money was split between two produce guys, who were unpacking boxes of tomatoes.

If a delicious lunch spread wasn't enough, Howard's "Feel Good Friday" left plenty of smiles on Arthur Avenue.

Come to Westchester Howard. I know it's a big place, but there are a lot of small towns you could visit.

Howard -

If you ever decide to go to the unisphere at the old World Fair in Flushing/Corona Queens, I will be there. That is my old hangout. Queens girl forever! Planted in Westchester, but true to my roots.

I'm in Texas, but feel free to give me the money. I'll donate it all to a no-kill shelter in Central Texas.

Howard,

I was offered $1000 to do a stint on the "learning channel". Since this was a personal issue, I declined. Hey, I could have had my own "reality show".

Maybe that was a stupid move on my part. I will never know. It had to do with real estate. I am no stranger to that issue.
