"Executive Rising Services" not Rising To The Occasion
Who Are These Guys?
For Denise Jackson it all began with an ad in a newspaper for management training positions. The ad said no experience necessary, promised to train them and payment could be as much as $18.25 an hour.
Denise called them and spoke with a woman named "Pat", who told her to come in for an interview. When Denise got to their offices in Union, New Jersey, she learned the company's name was "Executive Rising Services". Once there she says she was led into a conference room and met with a man, who introduced himself as Matt Williams.
Denise described Matt as a diminutive person, in other words a "little person".
Matt made all sorts of promises to her. He said she was going to make $18.25 an hour. She would get a brand new office in Newark and she could expect to receive a $900 sign-on bonus. It all sounded too good to be true and then they asked her to pay $80.00 for fingerprints.
Denise promised she would bring the money with her on her second visit, then went home and asked her cousin, Rahman to research them online.
Online, Rahman found a plethora of blogs devoted to Executive Rising Services and the many other so-called "companies" created by Matt Williams aka Mark Mingolo. Advanced Safety Solutions. Maquillage Make-up. Global Interventions. The Little Gourmet Cooking Academy.
He also saw a lot of complaints.
Concerned, Denise then called Help Me Howard.
Howard first reported on the Maquillage Make-up scam two years ago. Contacted by a woman who had answered a 2007 newspaper ad promising to train applicants to become management trainees. She met with someone named Jamie Jordan and was told she would first begin by selling samples of this new french make-up line "Maquillage" to her friends. She never filled out any W-2 forms and never got paid. When she contacted Howard, he researched the make-up samples she was selling and found out they were old Sally Hansen cosmetic samples. Sally Hansen said they had no association with Maquillage.
When the Connecticut Better Business Bureau saw Howard's report on Maquillage, they contacted him to fill him in on the Mark Mingolo/Jamie Jordan operation. The Connecticut BBB describes Mark Mingolo as the alleged ring leader of an east coast gang of grifters. They were briefly in Connecticut selling fire suppression equipment under the name "Advanced Safety Solutions" before the BBB got them kicked out of the state.
They place ads in local newspapers, wait for desperate job hunters to answer them and then bilk them of the little money they have left.
Then last year in 2008, Howard again heard of a similar operation going on in Brooklyn, this time called Global Interventions. Contacted by several unhappy applicants, who had paid for the fire suppression equipment and were now having no luck getting paid for the items they had sold. Again no W-2's and no payment.
This time Howard encountered a woman running the office by the name of "Elaine", but still no sign of Mark Mingolo. Elaine admitted he had been there, but she claimed to have no knowledge that the operation was a scam.
Then last week Howard got a call from Denise. When she explained the job application process and then described Matt Williams as a "little person", Howard immediately knew he was again dealing with Mark Mingolo and company.
Howard and Denise visited the offices of Executive Rising Services to find out exactly who was running this operation and what exactly they were selling. That's where they encountered a young man, who refused to tell them his name nor would he explain what the company did.
He claimed no knowledge of a Mark Mingolo or Jamie Jordan. The woman who Denise had been introduced to as 'Pat', now claimed that was not her name and that fingerprints were NOT a job requirement. At this point Howard was asked to leave.
But Howard had Denise examine pictures of Mark Mingolo and she made a positive ID that he was in fact the person she had met with, who had identified himself as Matt Williams.
If you are ever applying for a job, watch out for any company that asks for money from you in order to process your application. And make sure that you fill out a W-2 form, that is the form that goes to the IRS in order for taxes to be taken out of your paycheck and eventually leads to Social Security. If you never fill that out, there is no official record of you working there.

I'm so upset because I have been there and yes they took my money and they have my social. And I'm wondering if there's any way for me to get that back. I still have the contract that I sign and the products.
It would help everyones cause if Howard didnt report wrong info. For example, putting the picture of me on the news when I dont work there. I have been employed else where for over 2 years. It confuses people because they think it is a big conspiracy when it is not. They see all the pictures of people and some story that sounds good and gets ratings, so it causes people to overreact to something. If people got the hard core facts, not the gossip and hear say, that would help. Everything is blown out of proportion. The entire training program is laid out in the contracts. It says that you will be paid commission and be a 1099 contractor. It is all very upfont. People hear what they want to and then cant believe that they didnt read what they were doing and they want to blame that on other people.
And if Howard sees this, I tried to call you to set you straight, but you wont return my calls because you are wrong. So quit using my picture to get ratings for yourself, or I going to file a lawsuite because you are using my picture to make money, and that is against the law. So there is a new story for you, show up at your own office with your camera to report yourself for bad reporting. you have my email adress, if you want to talk, you know how to reach me.

Mingolo and Jamie Jenkins (Jamie Jordan) are lower forms of life that prey on the most vulnerable in our society. Your efforts have kept pain and suffering from a lot of families. Keep up the good work. I'll contact your program when these cockroaches infest some other town.
I have to ask. Is the Attorney General in New Jersey awake???? These criminals have set up these rip off schemes in a number of towns in New Jersy over the past couple of years. I have personally notified the Attorney General twice.
Where is the IRS???? These people are not paying federal taxes of the money that they steal from their "employees". They are also not paying state taxes.
Howard - Maybe you should investigate the New Jersey Attorney General next and ask him why these people are not in jail. Does he care about the citizens of New Jersey????
The attorney general only deals with people that are doing something against the law. also, the irs doesnt investigate people based on the fact that you dont think they pay taxes. Unfortunately for you, I pay taxes. No matter how many stories Howard does and how many times people go running off to the attorney general, there is nothing that can be done to me. I dont even live in NJ.
And just fyi Howard, no matter how many times you shoe the clip where you were going to "Eagle Claw" to the face, that would have been a bad idea for you and would not have worked out for you very well at all. you can say it was corporate attourneys and you not wanting to get sued, but it was really a fear of something else that kept you from even trying that.

Jamie which one or you the one that claims to now be fired or on vacation. Patty you threatened to call the police on me if I did not leave the office because you guys did not want to return my money see I advised you guys when you asked the question Mr. Aundreas am I the type to argue my point if I am right. You see I say what it is, you guys are not messing with me but the funds I support my family which means you messing with my children and my moma, so why argue when law enforcement is there to back me up. All the money you have scamed people for, you should be now thinking about giving back to the community, change your game up and start a legitimate company and working with the government to put people back to work. Its just so surprising to me that all you people have not moved on. Its been years since I was doing the fire safety thing. It must crush you to know that I am still successful, happy, and yes, making a lot of money. I am no longer in opportunity based marketing, but people like myself will always be successful regardless of what line of work they are in. I simply look at running an office like any other job I have had that I did well at. To read these blogs, you people make it sound like I am some kind of career criminal. The bottom line is that I spent 4 years working in a perfectly legitimate environment that has a high failure rate. I just did not fail and you did. I had great times during those years, but I have moved on to bigger and better things.
As for the fellow above that was curious about my car, I have several but my daily driver is a Lexus. I have a wrangler to play in, a new suv, and jet skis as well.
Jamie (Jeremy)! Is pitiful that you and your crime partners: namely Mark, Elaine, Anna and many more have no remorse for all the hurt, pain, hardship and grief that you have caused to so many innocent hardworking people. Many of your victims are still trying to pay back the customers for the products that they paid for but they did not received.
