It's Feel Good Friday...Greenwich Village!

What would you do if Channel 11 gave you $1,000 in cash?
Every Friday now is "Feel Good Friday," as Help Me Howard is giving away $1,000 to one very lucky person.
But there's a catch!
Tune into the PIX News At Ten every Friday night to find out what it is.
And be sure to go to our blog every Thursday night to find out what part of the tri-state area Howard's going to be giving away cash next.
This August 21st, the "Feel Good Friday" location will be in lower Manhattan, in the vicinity of Greenwich Village.
That's where Howard met Will Morgan, riding around out on his bike.
Will wanted to play along and he decided he wanted to give the money to some foreign visitors, three ladies visiting from Argentina. They off course were thrilled. And afterwards we found out exactly who Will really is, he's a performer who calls himself "The Jewish Elvis" or "Jelvis".
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend!

This is a stupid segment. It is not news. It does not really help people in need. Lose it and the hat.
I think this is a really nice thing that PIX is doing it really can help people but I think it should be given to someone who really looks like they need it, such as someone who is homeless or a elderly person. Although that would be kinda hard because then others wouldn't get any even if they need it.
Also the girls who the money was given to like come on they don't really need it. They are from Argentina they are gonna buy clothes to flash back in Argentina. But why not donate to a church. I go to a church called Christian Life Devotion and right now we a in a house. Our goal is to get a building not something huge but a normal sized church.
Hi Howard,
I just saw your 'Feel Good Friday' clip, which is a great idea.
Could you please encourage the good folks of NYC to give the money to somebody who really needs it (like the time the young couple gave it to a lady with a baby in a hospital).
It would be more interesting if there was a search for a worthy recipient instead of giving it to somebody who happens to be passing by.
Please consider the suggestion. Have a nice weekend.
I feel that the people that are much well off whom are given the money may use it for shopping, which would stimulate the economy. I think Howard should ask the receivers what they would plan to do with the money then express his response to that to the viewers to add depth to his segment.
It would be nice to see him give money to more needy communities. However it is debatable on how they will use it, they would either pay some bills or save it -which wouldn't do much for the economy anyway unless they put it in the bank.
