This June 19th, the "Feel Good Friday" location will be Newark, NJ....in the vicinity of Ferry Street in the Ironbound section.
That's where Howard met Beatrice.
Beatrice decided that she wanted to donate the money to the local Boys & Girls Club, so she and Howard headed over there, where they share offices with the Salvation Army and gave them the $1000.

I think that that's great what you do giving away $1000 every Friday but some people need it more then the people who do get it random on da streets. I wacth you give away $1000 before and my heart ached but I was happy 4 the people who did get it. But at the same time I feel it I do think I'm one of those people who deserve it I'm 22, single mom, just graduated from my pharmarcy tech program n got accepted to a local college but its still college and I was happy I then started working in a pharmacy but then in that same week I lost my apartment all my stuff. Now I have two jobs in the pharmacy staying with a friend for a couple of days now before then bouncing around with my daughter and then I found out I was expecting another one on the way and scared,sad don't know wat to do have little money have to eat,pay my daughters school fee,get to work and now we have no clothes no bed no apartment nothing of our owe I have been trying to work and save but I don't get paid much and things are hard so $1000 would really help me I do need it but if I was ask to give it to someone else I would because those who give shall receive maybe not now I know I need it but it will come I hope u get this and keep doing gud you will be bless to.

I wasn't surprised the lady recognized you Friday. If I was in NYC I would recognize you, and I live in Toronto. Always like watching PIX as much as I can as we get it on our cable here but not in HDTV?, and it's especially great to see your reports 5 times a week. Your news is a little more exciting than ours.

I am a Licensed Practical Nurse but I am finding it very difficult to find work because I never fit into the employer's ethnic background. I am African American and find that usu I am the only one. I find myself being terrorized each time I try to find work with the question, "Where are you from".
