Tooth Whitening Company Doesn't Have Much to Smile About - Part 2

Howard's efforts to help a worker get paid uncovers much more about Brite Smile.
Yesterday we told you about Louis Medina, a window washer who was owed $ 955.00 by Brite Smile. Now it turns out there's more then meets the eye with the tooth whitening facility on West 57th Street in Manhattan.
When Howard began getting telephone calls from former and current employees of Brite Smile, he learned things were not right. Paychecks were consistently late, sometimes as much as three weeks and employees were being terminated for no good reason.
But the most egregious thing taking place was the case of a dentist, who had worked for Brite Smile for eight years. Dr. Y claimed the company had been using her name and dental license to buy Botox and Restylane, which she had not agreed to. According to this dentist, they were still using her license, even after she had been fired by Brite Smile.
WPIX was able to obtain an invoice that proves Brite Smile ordered 100 units of Botox cosmetic from the Allergan Corporation on March 24th of this year for $1050.00. The product was shipped to Brite Smile's West 57th Street office, care of this former dentist, who had been terminated back in January.
In a written response Brite Smile had this to say:
"The Allergan account was in fact in Dr. Y's name. No one changed the name on the account after she left. Brite Smile will now delete her name from the account on an ongoing forward basis and place any future orders for botox thru other licensed doctors/dentists affiliated with Brite Smile."
Finally, we are very happy to report that Louis Medina received the $ 955.00 he was owed from Brite Smile, several days ago.
