Brooklyn Woman Needs Help Finding her Knight in Shining Armour

Camille Davis of East New York, Brooklyn needs Howard's and your help finding the man who came to her aid, when she collapsed on the street last week. Last Wednesday, on February 4th Camille hadn't been feeling well and went to her local hospital to get checked out, but they couldn't find anything wrong. So she went to work, afterwards she went to class at Touro College on West 23rd Street near 6th Avenue in Manhattan. (Camille is getting a double Masters in Special Education and Psychology.) After class she headed across 23rd Street toward the subway, when she started feeling woozy. Camille reached for the subway railing to steady herself and that's where she collapsed, fainting into unconsciousness.

It's at this point that a young man came to her aid and called 911. He called out to her and when she came to, he asked her name. Camille was astonished to see that he had laid down right next to her on the sidewalk and promised not to leave her til help came. When the ambulance arrived, he saw her into it, briefed the EMT's and then he vanished. Camille says she'll never forget how vulnerable she felt. All she can think of now is how other people might have mistaken her for a bum or could have stolen her purse. How would she have gotten help? Who would have called an ambulance? She is so grateful to this young man for helping her that she reached out to Help Me Howard for help finding him. Camille describes her savior as a caucasian male, between 24 and 27-years old, approximately five-feet, seven-inches tall with brownish-blonde hair. She said he looked like he might have been a student too. He wore a brown coat and had a messenger bag strapped across his chest.

If you have any information about who came to Camille Davis's aid last Wednesday February 4th, 2009, please contact Help Me Howard at WPIX.COM or call the Help Me Howard Hotline at 212-210-2490. Camille wants the opportunity to thank him in person.

On Dec. 30th,on 9th Ave. at 6:00pm, I had a fallen and smashedmy face into to sidewalk. My friends whom I was with were afraid to see how badly I was hurt, when a stranger, who fits the description of Camille's also came to my aid. He laid down on the sidewalk, had me lift my face so he could see how bad it was, he got me tissues for the blood and ice. He made sure an ambulance was on the way, and that my friends knew what to do before he left. I never saw his face, but one of my friends saw your story last night and called me and said it sounded like the same man who helped me that day. If you find him I would love to thank him and another man from England that stayed to help me until the ambulance arrived. The people of New York were very compassionate that cold winter day. Many people stoppped to ask if they could help me and many more offerd to pray for me. It was very comforting having so many strangers care for me.
