Hockey Gloves Go Out for Repair and Never Come Back

A man sent his only pair of hockey gloves out to be fixed, but he never saw them again. That's when he called Help Me Howard. Will Howard be able to make the save?
Back in high school, Steve Seda purchased a pair of Jofa hockey gloves. Over time the gloves started to wear so he decided to have them re-palmed. An advertisement that he found in a hockey magazine, came in handy when he wanted to have them repaired.
About a year and a half ago, Steve sent a check for 95 dollars to the Brucker Glove Company in Los Angeles. According to Steve, the owner told him that when the gloves were ready he would cash he check and mail him back the gloves.
Months went by, and Steve never received his gloves. His check was not cashed, so he called Brucker to find out what was going on. Steve said the owner told him that his gloves were not ready and that he would contact him when he shipped them out.
Another few weeks went by and still no gloves, Steve called back the shop. To his surprise, the owner told Steve that he mailed them and cashed his check. Steve told him that he never received the gloves and requested a tracking number or confirmation receipt proving the gloves were actually mailed. The owner told him that he would look for it and get back to him, he never did.
In the interim, Steve did admit that he moved later that year, and that the gloves just might have gotten lost in the mail. Steve insists that he told Brucker Glove Company of the address change, plus notifed the post office to forward his mail to his new location.
We called Brucker Glove Company, and we were told the same thing. The owner maintains that he mailed the gloves back to Steve, yet still could not provide us with any type of tracking or confirmation information.
We didn't want to waste time going back and forth, so we called our friends....who else? The New York Rangers. Howard and Steve went up to their training facility in Westchester, where they talked hockey and watched the Blueshirts practice.
Howard's random thought on the Ranger's Practice.
You should see some of the moves these guys were making...if I did a split like that, I wouldn't be able to have kids. Their skill level is just incredible. It's amazing to see world class athletes at practice. It's very important for all young athletes to see even at the top level the pros go over the basics. I was very impressed by that.
Later, the big surprise!! Scotty Gomez presented Steve with a brand new pair of hockey gloves...and he even autographed them!!! Together, Howard and the Rangers come up with a big "glove" save!!
