The owners of a small local business say one of their long time customers is being totally unreasonable.

The owners of Lucky Star trading company in Brooklyn specialize in 99 cent discount merchandise, toiletries, and paper supplies. They distribute their products to five and dime stores, like Big Bob's Discounts, and that's where the story begins.

Just before school started Big Bob's ordered ten cases of notebooks from Lucky Star trading, totaling $1,285 dollars. Slight problem, the notebooks didn't have the right number of pages.

Ipurchased an surround sound and television priced at $1679 from Sixth Ave Electronics I asked before the sale if I can return the product if Ididnt like it with a Sales Assoc. Francis he said if you don't open the product I told him that I would open it and if you can't assure me that I can return it then I will go elsewhere. He said ok just talk to me or my Sup as he pointed to another gentleman I purchased the product Mar 23rd and attempted to return it Mar 26th and I was denied the associate then told me that its not his policy its store policy. I told him that we had a verball agreement which needs to be honored he told me store policy is not to accept return on anything over 32 inches. I told him that they don't run a respectablle organization. I don't think anyone should purchase anything from a company that doesn't work for the people the employees there are crooked and very sneaky the Supervisor there made me fully aware without exact words that they will never intend to refund your money unless the equipment is defective in which they will also try to replace the item. I was also told that if it was defective that I would receive a pay-out for whatever I paid I wonder how true that statement is from an associate whom breaks rules to make a sale.
