A family from New Jersey wanted to renovate their home and turn it into their dream house, but the whole process turned into a nightmare.
After applying and successfully receiving a home equity loan, the loan officer then turned around and offered his services to the family as a general contractor. If you think that sounds a bit sketchy, you're right.
