Acclaimed Vampire Drama 'Moonlight' To Air On The CW This Summer!

The CW has announced that it will pair critical darling and cult-favorite vampire drama Moonlight with The Vampire Diaries this summer.

Moonlight, which originally aired on CBS during the 2007-2008 season will premiere on Thursday, June 3rd at 9pm on The CW. In all, 16 episodes were produced for CBS.

Moonlight stars Alex O'Loughlin as Mick St. John, a charming and immortal private investigator from Los Angeles who became a vampire 60 years ago and defies the traditional blood-sucking norms of his vampire tendencies by using his wit and powerful supernatural abilities to help the living. Moonlight also stars Sophia Myles, Jason Dohring (Veronica Mars) and Shannyn Sossamon (How To Make It In America).
