Superman Flies Again - Smallville To Return This Fall!
The CW announced late yesterday that it's longest running series, Smallville will return next fall for an unprecedented 10th season.
Smallville has earned the right to return based on strong performances the series has produced after a move to Friday from its long established home on Thursday nights. Friday is typically the second lowest viewing night of the week, yet in its 9th season, Smallville has been able to increase viewership for the evening.
The current season of Smallville has been somewhat of a creative renaissance for the show, as many have cited this year's episodes as some of the best in show history.
Last month, The CW announced the renewals of five other series (Gossip Girl, Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries, America's Next Top Model and 90210). When Smallville did not appear on the list of returnees, many thought this to be the end of Clark Kent and company. Clearly, this is not the case.
Smallville airs on Fridays at 8pm (but you knew that already).

Smallville is a great series. The story line is progressing and keeps you waiting on the edge of your seat for the next night. Half way through the night I try to wonder what the next installment will bring.

You know a shoqw is on point when it can keep people in the house on a Friday night. in history only 1 other show was able to do that. SG-1
I'm especially elated that it's Smallville that does this so I still have my Sci-Fi Fridays.

I wish that FX had the show. This season has been better yes. but in a whole the show is going nowhere fast. No i understand that they are showing his life on his way to superman. However- the fact that he is not flying is the signle dumbest thing about this show. it actually makes me sick,. You have episodes like Run, Onyx, Justice, and the latest absolute Justice. and then you have these disgusting excuses for episodes in between. The show would be so much better of they did 14 episodes without all this melo drama bs episodes that do nothing. BC the cqw wants to milk the cash cow. 26 years old in the show now flying- just sucks- plus you bring the flash back in the season finale last year and dont have him superspeed anything- love the show- but it lacks alot and needs fixing- zod gets some blood and he can fly how retarted is that
The show was always great but this season has been incredable the JSA, other heros and clark accepting his future. wow thanks for the renewal I cant wait for season 10 , 11, 12 and so on .
