PTC Is Up In Arms Over Gossip Girl's Threesome!
The Parent Television Council is scolding The CW for next week's highly anticipated Gossip Girl episode featuring a "threesome." In the episode titled They Shoot Humphreys, Don't They, three unnamed characters will do the "dirty deed," that has the PTC steaming.
As a result, the PTC has urged CW affiliates to boycott the episode by not airing it. In a letter to affiliates, PTC president Tim Winter wrote:
Will you now be complicit in establishing a precedent and expectation that teenagers should engage in behaviors heretofore associated primarily with adult films? If this program violates broadcast decency law, rest assured that our members will contact the Federal Communications Commission.
As of now, no stations have pulled out (pun intended). ;)

I think that some parents know they can't control their own children, and because of that they dont want them watching things that will put ideas in their heads. This show is for young adults. Anyone who would classify themselves as such shouldn't act based on what a show tells them to do. What are teenagers doing watching tv until 10pm anyways? get your kids a parttime job, or sit them down with some homework. It will do them some good.
As a teen i do watch this show. If you don`t want your kid watching the show then don`t let the. It`s your job as a parent to control what your kids watch. By the way this is just television its not real life. I don`t think most kids will copy what they see on the show. So yea stop complaining and let us enjoy the show.
I love the show and think that if they stopped airing this type of stuff the characters would not be as enjoyable. Not only teens watch this, I'm 24 and love the fact that it is not like every other show it reminds me of sex and the city.
Gossip girl is made for mature young adults, if parents have a issue with the content of the show, if your feel your kids are not mature enough to deal with situation then make sure they do not watch it. But do not try to ruin a show because you do not agree with one episode.

It just a show.The Parent Television Council want everything on TV to be Sugar and spice, but it cant.Besides if you turn on your TV you can see racier things than this. Besides I don't think an 8 year old will be watching this, this show was meant to be for older teenagers. DON'T MAKE A BIG ISSUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Honestly it does happen everywhere and they are in college not high school.. they are considered adults if they get punished by the law they are legal to have sex at the age of 17 so they are not doing anything wrong. Parents try to have a hold on the childern. The stricter you are the worse they will act out. Everyone has to experiment to find the true them. Its life and happens in all colleges so just relax and let the show air.
