Last night's winner came to the PIX Morning News for an interview. Check it out below.
Continue reading ...and the winner of America's Next Top Model is... »Is There Justice In Smallville? Absolutely!
The CW has decided to schedule its highly anticipated two-part Justice Society themed Smallville story as a seamless 2-hour movie event.

The two episodes previously titled Society and Legends will now be presented as Smallville: Absolute Justice and air on Friday, February 5th, 2010 from 8-10pm.
Written by D.C. Comics legend Geoff Johns (best known for his work on The Flash and The Green Lantern), Smallville: Absolute Justice will introduce such Justice Society members as Hawkman, Doctor Fate and Stargirl. Johns also wrote last season's Legion of Superheroes episode. Phil Morris returns as Martian Manhunter in the movie.
Originally, the Justice Society episode had been scheduled as a stand-alone hour. Then it expanded to two hours.
"To be honest, there were so many characters and so much great story that people would've been robbed of some great moments if we kept it to just one hour," said Executive Producer Kelly Souders. "So now that it's (two-hours), you won't miss anything."
The CW took the unusual step of presenting the story as a seamless 2-hour movie based on the strength of the two episodes.
Vampire Diaries Marathon Coming!
The CW has announced plans to air a weeklong Vampire Diaries Marathon next month.

From Monday, December 14th through Friday, December 18th, The CW will rebroadcast all 10 episodes of the hit show in consecutive order. Each night, back-to-back episodes of The Vampire Diaries will air from 8-10pm.
In just a few short months, The Vampire Diaries is already one of the most talked about shows on TV and recently scored a major thumbs up by being nominated for two People's Choice Awards -- Favorite New TV Drama and Favorite TV Sci/Fi/Fantasy.
The CW Taps Hayden Panettiere For New Pilot!
The new season is only a couple of months old, but The CW is already planning for next year.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the network has ordered a pilot for a possible series called HMS.
HMS stands for Harvard Medical School and is an hour-long ensemble drama about the lives of med school students (think Grey's Anatomy -- only younger. This is The CW, of course.).
HMS will be executive produced by Heroes star Hayden Panettiere and Amy Holden Jones (the writer of Julia Roberts' 1988 breakthrough film, Mystic Pizza). This will be Panettiere's first foray behind the camera.
No cast has been announced yet, but rest assured, The CW will NOT stop until every good looking young actor and actress in New York and Hollywood have their own show!
At least, I might finally learn how to spell Panettiere without having to look it up everytime. One n, two t's, one r. GOT it!
Going GaGa Over Gossip Girl!
Lady GaGa performs Bad Romance on Monday's episode of Gossip Girl. Here's a sneak peek!
Top Model Gets A Makeover!
According to Gatecrasher, America's Next Top Model will get a nip and tuck before its spring cycle is unveiled in 2010.

Gone will be the weekly guest judges. They are being replaced by model and fashionista Kimora Lee Simmons. Kimora Lee Simmons is no stranger to Top Model, having appeared sporadically on the show since 2003.
Additionally, word is that Miss J will be exclusively teaching the prospective top models how to walk the runway and will be giving up his judging chair. In his place, Andre Leon Talley, Vogue's editor-at-large will be seated at the table with Tyra, Kimora Lee and photographer Nigel Barker.

In January, Expect The 'UneXpected!"
The CW is eXpecting...
Gossip Girl will soon be taking a short winter hiatus, but will come back with 12 first-run episodes that will air without interruption through the end of the season in late May.

While Gossip Girl is on short rest, The CW will debut Life UneXpected, an hour-long comedy drama that's been described as a cross between Gilmore Girls and Juno.
In Life UneXpected, 15-year-old foster child Lux wants to become an emancipated minor and seeks out her biological dad, thirty-something "Baze," who lives like an aging frat boy and is shocked to learn that he has a daughter. Lux is equally surprised to find out that her mother is Cate Cassidy, a local radio star. When a judge grants custody of Lux to Baze and Cate, they decide to make a belated attempt at becoming a family.
Life UneXpected premieres Mondays at 9pm beginning January 18th. Here's a preview:
Life UneXpected stars Shiri Appleby who you may remember from The WB's Roswell. It also features Kristoffer Polaha (Mad Men, North Shore, Miss Guided) and Brittany Robertson (Swingtown).

Sneak A Peek At 5 Minutes Worth Of Clips From Next Week's Gossip Girl!
OK...you're gonna have to wait 'til next week to see the "threesome," but here are 4 awesome clips and a promo for next week's episode of Gossip Girl:
PTC Is Up In Arms Over Gossip Girl's Threesome!
The Parent Television Council is scolding The CW for next week's highly anticipated Gossip Girl episode featuring a "threesome." In the episode titled They Shoot Humphreys, Don't They, three unnamed characters will do the "dirty deed," that has the PTC steaming.

As a result, the PTC has urged CW affiliates to boycott the episode by not airing it. In a letter to affiliates, PTC president Tim Winter wrote:
Will you now be complicit in establishing a precedent and expectation that teenagers should engage in behaviors heretofore associated primarily with adult films? If this program violates broadcast decency law, rest assured that our members will contact the Federal Communications Commission.
As of now, no stations have pulled out (pun intended). ;)
Jessica Simpson Lashes Out!
Stop the presses! Jessica Simpson has called Melrose Place, 'crap!'

Earlier this week, Jessica came to the defense of little sis Ashlee who was recently dismissed from her short-term role as Violet on The CW's Melrose Place. In a short diatribe, the elder Simpson sister Twittered her dissatisfaction.
CW catching up on MP.who writes this crap?i have had bad scripts to work with, but this?thank God my sister is amazing and got you some press...Watch til Jan.. :).
Can you say, "sour grapes?"
In fairness, she was defending her little sister, so kudos to her for that (anyone of us would probably do the same).
On the other hand, it is galling to be called out as 'crap' by someone who's crowning achievement as an actor came as Daisy Duke in the Dukes Of Hazzard remake. Or perhaps her starring role as Private Megan Valentine in Major Movie Star (a straight to DVD masterpiece which got a brief theatrical release in Bulgaria -- I kid you not) qualifies her to make such grand pronouncements.
Let's remind ourselves why Jessica Simpson is a leading authority on acting and quality scripts.
First Look At Jor-El On Smallville!
Here are a few production stills and a clip from from Kandor, Friday's episode of Smallville featuring Julian Sands as Jor-El.

Ryan Eggold Gets 'Lynched' On 90210!
Actress Kelly Lynch (Drugstore Cowboy, The 'L' Word) will be joining the cast of 90210 as a love interest for West Beverly teacher Ryan Matthews (Ryan Eggold). Unbeknownst to him, she's also the mother of one of his students. Uh oh!

According to TV Guide, Lynch will play Laurel, "a fortysomething, pot-smokin' hottie," with a colorful past. In a late October post, Spoilerfix outed the character as Laurel Sullivan, Ivy's mom.
The Vampire Diaries Plays Musical Stakes!
Last week's shocking death on The Vampire Diaries might have had a different look to it if Executive Producer Kevin Williamson had stuck to the original script.

When the sequence was shot several weeks ago, Stefan was not the guy that plunged the stake into Vicki. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello, Kayla Ewell (who played Vicki) revealed that someone else staked her.
"In the original script, Jeremy kills Vicki. And that’s what we shot. Jeremy is forced to choose between saving the love of his life or his sister, and he chooses his sister. We shot the whole thing and I [moved back to] L.A. Then about a week and a half later, I got an e-mail from Kevin and [coexecutive producer] Julie Plec asking me to come back to Atlanta to reshoot my death scene — only this time Stefan kills me," Ewell told Entertainment Weekly.
"They chose to have Stefan kill me because it makes him more of a hero since he saves Elena. There was also the question of would Jeremy know to actually stake a vampire in the heart? In the original script, when Vicki gets staked you see her disappear into dust. But in the [reshot scene that aired], Stefan pulls the stake out and Damon takes me away," Ewell explained.
Guess we have our first DVD extra when Vampire Diaries, Season One is released next year.
